New Window Installation

The installation of the new Impact Glass Windows and doors has begun. What a major transformation!! We have started at the back of the house and will work our way around to the front. New windows and doors make an immediate impact on a old house. Once the stucco work and exterior painting has been completed, it will look like new contruction. The Master Bathroom demo work has been completed. It has great space, but had a terrible layout. The new layout will be far more effecient with the new addition of a spa whirlpool tub and private water closet (tiolet room). I have secured some of the flooring for the house which will be a combination of tile and wood floors. I'm evening thinking about restoring the old Terrazo floors on the South side of the house. Terrazo is a Mid-Century flooring design feature popular in homes built in the late 60's and early 70's. The cost of a Terrazo installation today is $30.00 a square foot. It's in pretty good condition, and restoration will be less than new floors. I still have a lot of finish selections to make, so I'll keep you posted on what I find.
